Just got a call from Jay saying he was from the Pharmaceutical Group and he is working with clients to help them launch new products in 2015 and 2016. I asked for a number to call back and then looked up the company name, the phone number he called from and the number to call him back. This lead me to this discussion. I will not be calling Jay back and how very lame of him to deceive people to sell seminar sponsorship etc. LAME.

I just received a call from Jay (no last name given) who said he was from the ACO Group and was interested in doing a project with our company. He gave me the cell (he used the word "mobile") number (514) 268-2225. I looked up the ACO Group, and it is an existing company, but not in our industry.

I just got the same call from the same guy -- or at least someone using the same name (Adam Axler) -- from the same company (Brazil Property Development Group) asking for our CEO.  The guy asked who I was, my position in the firm etc and questions about our work.  I got a (514) 679-8418 from him and it's a number in Quebec, voicemail name is totally different and nothing.  Weird ...

The number is owned by a company called "Marcus Evans". It looks they also go by "The THG (The Hospitality Group)".

Received a call from Jay Sharma from the "Power Plant Management Group" and he was looking to evaluate staffing companies that provide engineers for power plants. I kept him on the phone for a while playing dumb to see if I could get a phone number out of him and sure enough he gave me both his mobile (514) 268-2225) and his office number (514) 289-9700 ext. 304).I immediately called the main number and it's an office in Quebec for Marcus Evans. I entered his extension and told him who I was and that he will NOT be getting a call back. We have never worked with Marcs Evans, not do we ever intend to. He tried to ask questions that would make me seem like a stupid secretary and I told him, "Sir, it's not gonna happen."

Caller said his name was Adam Axler and he was calling from Brazil Property Development. Asked for our CEO by name.  He called repeatedly months ago, as I remember his name, and my CEO asking, "Who IS this guy??"

Just got a call from Jay (514) 289-9700 xt 304 , very vague and nosy , got his number and called back , it is an event company that puts on meetings and seminars around the world , I think he was looking to expand his invitee list
