They claim to be Arbitron Ratings and want you to complete a survey about radio listening. When I told them I did not listen to the radio, they wanted me to complete the survey anyway. They do not do the survey on the phone, they want to mail it to you. I asked why they were calling from Canada, and they said they are a satellite office, and they are there to be within our time zone. How lame is that statement? They are calling from Canada to bypass the do_not-Call law. If they are not up to no good, why can't they do the survey on the phone? They tell you right off the rip that the conversation may be recorded. Why do they need anything in writing? They claim the numbers they call are randomly generated, but they called me 5 times yesterday because I did not answer the phone. They started calling me last week (multiple times on multiple days), and I told one of their reps then that I did not want to participate. They then started calling me even more frequently. When I questioned the second rep about the repeated calls, she said that they get a list of numbers to call every week. When I told her this is the second week they have been bothering me, she had no answer for me. Liars.
