I got the same phone call today, with the same blank reponse???

Been getting the same number calling my house phone repeatedly no one on the other end, thanks for posting Riverview Guy glad to know.

Getting several calls per day from this number but nobody on the other end, just a disconnect after a few seconds.  When I try to call back I get a recorded message that the mailbox is full.  Anybody know what is going on with this number?

FINALLY someone on the other end!! This number has called everyday for more than a week. Never anyone there when you answer. If you call it back the mailbox is full. But today my wife answered and got a guy on the other end of the line, he had my name and asked if I was home? She replied no and then he began to say what he was calling about. He said he was calling from a drug awareness charity and tried to tell her that I had made a donation last year using my credit card (NOT TRUE) I never make donations on a credit card especially over the phone!! He tried to move the conversation along into having her agree to make another donation using a credit card again this year. She doubted what he was saying and asked for a phone number that I could call them back at when I got home. He couldn't provide a number and said that I wouldn't be able to get back in touch with him. She asked for information to be sent in the mail, suddenly a lady came on the phone saying she was a manager and again tried to push my wife to use a credit card over the phone, saying our address to give some kind of legitimacy that they already had our info.. My wife declined... We will see if something comes in the mail or not. I really feel this is a scam because I have never made a donation on a credit card over the phone, and they tried to tell my wife that I had and wanted her to do it again. Going to call Codiac RCMP to see if anyone has fallen for this.

I too am getting phone calls from this number and it is getting annoying.  Tried calling Aliant but they say it could be a phantom number.  Apparently the number is coming from a location on Alma Street and there are numberous numbers appearing at this location but this number is not listed to anyone or any company.
