It said it was the EVM, asking about television and radio broadcast systems to help broadcasters and rating systems. they had my address, and I asked politely several times to have my address and phone number removed to no avail, all I got was 'if someone should contact you for a follow up, it can be removed then'. I'm really, really annoyed with this one.

Recive a call everyday from this number, usually in the afternoon. I also recieved a call about 6:30 am and answered, the youg lady on the other end started to tell me that I won a trip to Orlando Fl. The call so turned to credit card questions, which card, and so on. then my cell phone went dead, had to recharge it. Never able to call them back....my best guess is this is a scam.

This number has been calling my house about 2-3 a day for the past 2 weeks or so; when it gets my answering machine it will also leave a long silent message.  I have never heard anyone / anything at the other end of the line.  I spoke to the RCMP, Rogers and Aliant and the best thing to do, if you have an Aliant phone plan, is right after the call comes in, dial *57; this is called "call trace".  After this is done about 3 times, Aliant will register this complaint and it will be properly investigated.  I am with Rogers who offered to block the number for free for a few months.  Aliant said it was a bogus number (the one that shows up on the phone) and that with certain computer programs you can have whatever you want show up as the caller ID.  Great!

Hey there,The number in question appears to be assigned using Skype Internet Phone, I just bought a subscription to the service and tried dialing my cell number in it, and this was the number my Caller ID displayed. Hope this helps anyone :)

I received 3 calls from this number already....i looked it up on reverse phone lookup and all i got is its a Moncton NB number, and is through Aliant so its probably a land line........and when i call back it says no longer in service .... :oS

This is Skype, i use it everyday and sometimes it will display NO NUMBER and sometimes that 854-4650 number. I don't know why sometimes it uses a local and sometimes a unknown.. but yah..
