We`re with Rogers, we`re constantly getting telemarketers since we switched to them, answer and we`re greated with silence. We just got a call from this number for the first time. It rang twice then hung up. Anyone know who this is?

This number has been calling my house about 2-3 a day for the past 2 weeks or so; when it gets my answering machine it will also leave a long silent message.  I have never heard anyone / anything at the other end of the line.  I spoke to the RCMP, Rogers and Aliant and the best thing to do, if you have an Aliant phone plan, is right after the call comes in, dial *57; this is called "call trace".  After this is done about 3 times, Aliant will register this complaint and it will be properly investigated.  I am with Rogers who offered to block the number for free for a few months.  Aliant said it was a bogus number (the one that shows up on the phone) and that with certain computer programs you can have whatever you want show up as the caller ID.  Great!

I tried calling back this number as my roommate said
that someone called from this number while i was gone out.
The person sounded chinese.
I tired calling back the number and can't get through.

they just called me last night and this morning , and i cant call them back cause its out of service , they are retards

Hey there,The number in question appears to be assigned using Skype Internet Phone, I just bought a subscription to the service and tried dialing my cell number in it, and this was the number my Caller ID displayed. Hope this helps anyone :)

We got a call this afternoon. When we answered (without looking at the caller ID at that time) they said it was a courtesy from TD Bank. They wanted to know if we had been to TD Bank in the last couple of days. We had been there earlier in the day so we said "yes". She asked if we had used a teller and we told her "no". She said that was all she wanted to know and that was the end of the call. Later on we looked through our callers list and noticed this number. We realized that the call from "TD Bank" came from this number. We live in the Moncton area and it appeared to be a local number. We just called TD Bank and they said that local branches do place these calls on a daily basis. I'm just not sure why this number is conected to all these other mystery calls! I'm a bit worried now........
