They call me daily, telling me they can lower my interest rates. It doesn't help to press #2 to get removed from their list. They'll still call. If you press #1 and kindly ask them to remove your number, they rudely hang up on you. At one point, I told them that I don't have any credit cards, hoping that would deter then from calling but they still call.

I have come up with a little game I like to play with these morons. I act like I want their services and play along. They ask how much credit card debt I have. I make up a number between $50K-$100K. They ask how much interest rate do I pay now? I say "Around 20%". They ask if all my accounts are in good standing. I say "Yes". They tell me I qualify for their program and all they need is the 800# off the back of one of my cards to verify that I am in good standing. I tell them to hold on while I go grab it out of my purse. I put the phone down and go about my business. You'd be surprised how long these a-holes will hold the line. Sometimes as long as FIVE minutes! Maybe it's not nice to do but I played nicely and they didn't honor my request of being removed from their call list so they can suffer as I have been, especially when they wake up my sleeping baby.

My husband said I should get back on the phone and tell them the phone number on the back of the card is 1-800-eff-off" or something to that effect. I think the next time they call, I will. ;-)

automated message about lower credit card rates.  press 1 to get live person.  person says they are from Credit Services.  They represent all FDIC banks and because I pay my credit card on time, they can lower my rate.  I asked who are you representing, "Credit Services".  Where are they incorporated?  hang up...
