I get this one all the time. I like to waste as much of their time as I can. Problem here is they use spoofed caller IDs. Calling back to this number gives a recording that number is not assigned. Not only that, but doing a lookup on the number shows no records found. The area code is Canada. Most prefixes on this area code belong to NEW BRUNSWICK TELEPHONE CO., LTD. More than likely, they have no record of the calls, since they never happened on their network. The CID is phoney, leaving us with no tools to trace the cals back, except for one. We have to sue our local carrier for the records. That's the only way they'll release the information; after the court says so. There's more to this, but I'll stop for now.

I just got a call from this number today and was saying that they have tried several times to contact me about lowering my interest rate on my credit card. Did not specify what card and I pressed 2 to hopefully stop tha annoying calls. Watch out for this one I smell a scam!
