I had a call from this one too. I didn't answer because I was busy trying to get my baby down for a nap. Possibly a Rogers land-line?? i know Rogers numbers in Saint John usually are 506-214-xxxx, so you never know. Most likely telemarketing or charity solicitation...it's "that" time of year again.

This number belongs to a telemarketing firm. They have been calling in the F'ton area presenting themselves as "The Conservative Party of Canada." Given the areas where neighbours got calls, I'd say they are working from voters lists - which are public information - all you need to do is look up the phone numbers.
If the Conservatives are actually using a firm to call on their behalf, it probably means they can't rally enough volunteers to do the calling. This may mean that the "in and out" scheme really works - what political party in the maritimes has the money for telemarkets 2 years after an election.

I received a call from this number. It was a lady asking me if I would be voting for the local Conservative candidate in the next Federal election. I wasn't aware that an election had been called, so I told her NO.
