I believe it was a Conehead alien from France. My best advise is to call the Immigration and Naturalization Service or the US Air Force. We need to declare war on Earth and Outer Space before our bodies are snatched from under us.

Called  9/7/2014 at 11:36 AM, I answered and female said something in French then hung up . Who knows ??

I just got this one. Yes, they call to see when you are home.  They are paid to do this by legitimate companies, so don't be so quick to let them off the hook just yet.  The way it works is they hire people, often out of the country so they are not violating American Do Not Call list.  They are checking when you are home then they hand that info off to American telemarketers who are polite about asking if you want to be taken off the list.  It's a back door way to research the best time you will answer your phone.

Sounds like some foreign muttering. I don't answer unknown callers. I let my machine get it.
