Caller (name not clear or identifyable) stating he was from Canada Revenue Agency.Had incomplete Tax return data, asking for my personal information such as Credit Carddetails and Banking accounts. Some of his tax data was more than 11 years old.I suspected a scam and denied any such information.  His office number he gave is1-+1 800-785-0870 ext 4922, which reached a messager.  He Called back from (418) 649-4965.I had a hit on my bank account the same day as his first call & I have learned that it was bytelephone banking which I do not use, impersonating my wife and trying to gain access.Thankfully the bank security features prevented him from getting any funds by locking the account which I discovered a few days later when trying to pay household bills.Smells fishy to me... similar MO of the 3 CRA agents charged in the past from the same area.  Francesco Fazio,  Elias Kawkab & Luigi Falcone.http://www.taxcollectorsbible.com/index.php?option=com_rsmonials&Itemid=9for more CRA horror stories.

No message and no caller ID.

This number is fraudulent - someone posing as a CRA agent requesting to speak to me about my business account. They left me a messaging asking me to call 1-+1 800-785-0870 ext 4037. They called me back at (418) 649-4965. I called CRA to verify if any of these are official CRA numbers. They are not.My advice would be to contact someone at CRA using their phone numbers on their official website. The representative will be able to confirm the phone number for you.
