Tape-recorded voice of "Ashely" from Cardholder Services called around noon today. No chance to ask any questions as it was a recording.  Are these "robocalls" allowed in Canada?

Called here in NS. ?"Michelle" said she was with "Associated Services".  When I asked more questions about who she was and who she was with she hung up on me.  This is the third time I've had a similar issue.
