Received call from this number - it was from GEOTrust (SSL Certificate) concerning a certificate that needs renewal.  We (our company) use several SSL certificates, from different vendors and this was a legitimate business call.  The caller left his name, company name and a call back number.

Although - it appears to be coming from what I would call a "SSL CALL CENTER" that appears to make calls for several different SSL vendors (according to previous post from other people.)  The quality and delay in the call probably comes from the fact that the calls originate from overseas (judging from the poor English of the caller) that is routed via a North American telephone number, and the delay is more than likely from the "Robo" dialer trying to transfer the call to a "live body" and failing to do so quickly.

I've received a call from this number three times in as many days and no one is on the phone.  It's area code is Toronto Canada and i've no business or personal dealings in that area.  I tried calling the number back but get a 6UT2 message.  My phone is a business phone and I would not have given this number out to unknown business

got calls from this # for last three days (exactly 18 hours apart). Last two times I answered and there was no sound from the other part (I kept saying hello for 45-60 secs). First day I received the call it went to voice mail, but no msg left. Right after that I got another call from another # ( 312 470 0736) and left a advertizing voice msg (transcript below).  "This is with some good news This is your official notice that effective today. You are now eligible to lower your Credit Card Interest rates to as low as for .9% The Federal Reserve is Jeff lower the interest rate to the stimulates to help the economy. In order to lower your credit card rates. You need to respond immediately before your eligibility expires. Please consider this your final notice. Press 1 now to speak with one of our customer service agents. "

This same number just called me, no one answered on the other line and was just silence, I could clearly hear someone on the other end but wasn't talking. Eventually the caller hung up as I waited in silence for a response for about 5 minutes. Probably a scam.

I got a call fro this today again this is the 10th time some one was calling me, but surprisingly this time somebody answered from other side! It was from HP company and they were talking about some promotion.

This number has called my 13-year-old daughter's phone twice today.  She called it back the first time.  I'm a little nervous now.  So far nobody has asked for her by name, but if they do I'm going to freak out.
