4:35pm, just received a call from this number as well. It had only just finished the second ring before I picked up the handset to check the caller ID - which simply read 'NSD' - and midway through the 3rd ring, it stopped. Picked up to verify that whoever was calling had hung up, and sure enough a dial tone was present. Bloody annoying.

Annoying. They called at 9 a.m. today (it's Saturday!) and of course didn't leave a number. I have had my phone number for about 8 years but the telemarketing/scam calls are getting worse this past year -- at a rate of about 5 to 10 per week (I don't answer them). I did have my number published publicly at some point several years ago and once you get on a list, you can't get yourself off of it. I'm changing my number as soon as I can.

I just received a package at my work with this phone number as the client/customer number for a package sent by Directory Distribution, Yellow Pages Group, 280 Hillmount Road, Unit 5, Markham, Ontario, L6C 3A1.  That's how I came across these complaints.  I'm trying to figure out if this is really from Yellow Pages or one of those scams where they send you cd's as business directories and you get an invoice a month or so later for a couple of hundred dollars.

Received one of these calls this morning (Mar 26/08). Picked up the phone and the caller (lady) said she was from Yellow Pages and just checking to ensure i had received my Yellow Pages phone book. I told her i had, but after hanging up felt that this was an odd phone call!!!
