Someone rude man calls barely speaking english-this last time stated he was John David for State Criminal Bureau of Investigations.  That I am pending a lawsuit due to me owning $$$ and that I need to call him immediately, giving him all my personal financial information or lawsuit will be filed and I will be arrested.  WHAT A JOKE!! When I try to call the number, it states it is no longer a working #.    There should be some way of stopping this type of harassment and scam.

Thats weird, I got a call from this number and was told to call back 347-607-3614 for an Officer Rick Williams, Very thick accent!  I called him back because I have gotten calls from this person before using multiple phone numbers and different names.  He has used Kevin Jones and James Nelson as well.  Trying to tell me that I have some type of case against me.  First it was from the Bureau of Credit Investigations and now from the State Department of special investigaitons.  When I asked what court system and what state he got very rudy.  Finally hung up.  I called him back left a message that every time they call I notify the Attorney General and give them the phone numbers they are calling from and the numbers they leave to call back.  Have not had a call since!

Called saying i am in the legal system and owe money $ what a tool.. Since i dont owe anything to anyone!

I just talked to someone from this number and they identified themselves as being with StopZilla. I do use this company's antispyware and virus protection. Suposedly my subscription has run out and they are offering me 50% off to renew for another year. Not comfortable giving my credit card over the phone so told them to call back later.

I will have to do some research when I get home to see if this valid.
