Received a call from this #.  Caller says he is with "Medicare".....

i just looked up usacops.com and it is a site for people looking for jobs in law enforcement. you can get a free email there. definitely a scam. if officer john brown with bureau of criminal investigations was really a cop he would have a county or state email like elpaso.co.us or something like that not usacops.comor something with gov in it. these guys are a joke and scammers and also call from 409-655-3009 with fax of 206-338-3009

me too. said he was with texas state police and coming after me with arrest warrant. i live in colorado! he really rattled me until i saw on another site that he was calling from 409-655-3009 which is in texas. google that number and you will be amazed at what people have to say about this guy and his "Bureau of Criminal Investigations" wanted me to fax a afffadavit stating i would pay for a payday loan that i owed and to fax it to 206-338-3009 funny the numbers ended the same.

I just talked to someone from this number and they identified themselves as being with StopZilla. I do use this company's antispyware and virus protection. Suposedly my subscription has run out and they are offering me 50% off to renew for another year. Not comfortable giving my credit card over the phone so told them to call back later.

I will have to do some research when I get home to see if this valid.

Lol. My call from this number was ridiculous "This is Officer Holmes with the local imvestigatin police. I am notifying you of legal action against your ssn. I will need your full ssn to verify this. Please call my direct number. Again there is legal action against you and if this causes you to lose your job, it is your fault." I was laughing so hard by the end of the message. He barely spoke english. By far the worst attempt to get private information I have ever heard.

just got a call from this number at my place of busines-- man claimed to be a detective of some sort but spoke with a strong arabic accent--- a co-worker of mine happened to get the call and started telling this man that he didnt want any calls to my place of employment as he calls here everyday attempted to claim I owe some money to them for a pay day loan???? this is a scam for sure--- and anyone who receives calls from these people-- best thing to do is hang up or tell them you will contact the Interpol.....
