I'm pretty sure he is a cold caller. Companies give him a list off ppl to call, he just has to show the numbers called with some air time on his personal phone bill. He probably works for several companies. The area code is from canada... I didn't answer my phone. I don't like unknown callers.

What came about from this??  I just recieved a nasty phone call and he had all my info as well.. He called me at work!!  I tried to make payment arrangement and he said it wasn't good enough. I got really mad and told him..look you probably are not even calling from the USA and do not know our laws. He got mad and said he will have an officer some and pick me up and hung up on me. Since he called my work, this was the last number on my cell so I figured when I didn't answer my cell he called my work!

gal from oregon

Had a couple calls then answered one to see what/who this was.  Identified himself as Robert with Medicare. Offering me a free wheelchair from medicare.  Told him I have no need, then he asked about possible family members that might need one.  I could tell immediately he was not with medicare, not professional person, etc.  Don't know what he's after, probably just seeking out people to steal money from or worse your identity.

I got 3 calls back to back from this number. When I would answer there was nobody on the line. The forth call I received should up on my caller ID as ?911? when I answered a man claiming to be an officer from the sheriffs department where I live (there is no sheriff?s department where I live) and told me I was used as a reference on a loan from a mutual friend and there was a warrant for her arrest for defaulting on this loan. He also claimed there was also a warrant for my arrest for being used as a reference. I told him to contact this mutual friend and give her the message himself. He then got irritated with all my attitude and lack of responses and hung up, but not before telling me she would be arrested within 2 hours.  I contacted my friend who called the local police department and there was no warrant for her arrest. At the same time I was receiving these calls so was she from a different phone number. This same man left a message on her voice mail stating that she would now be arrested on Monday, instead of Friday. It totally makes since that the police department would give you a heads up that you were going to be arrested and then wait till after the weekend to do so.  What a bunch of BS. Isn?t impersonating an officer illegal in all states? Jerk.

i got a call today, saying that he was an officer and wanted to know if my states police department contacted me yet about my federal crimes. saying that i had 3 counts against me for bank fraud, check fraud and internet fraud from an unpaid payday loan. he had all my personal info, bank info. ss#, work #, address, ect. he said i had to pay 400 today, and i argued with him because i know i had no unpaid loans out. he started to freak out, calling me all sorts of insults and said he was gonna put a freeze on my ss# and issue my warrents, i said go on ahead, because i can prove that i did not take a online loan out, he then hung up on me. i called my police department and filed a complaint, and if you are getting calls like this do the same, so you have a police report number so if any money comes out of your account then it is not your responsibility and you would be repaid the amaoun taken within 7 to 10 business days. also if they open any accounts anywhere else, it wont be on you. check your credit report also to verify that accounts in your name arent opened under them!!! i cant wait for them to call back again cause i am gonna totally fu*k with them!!!

Ok I knew I owed a past pay day loan and paid that off.  But now I received 2 different calls one from James Brown LOL  518-659-8082 ext 147 fax 518-514-1292 email:jamesbrown165 @ usacops.com
beware they are as fraudulent as the others but really sound convincing! Claims he is not a debt collector but works for the bureau of crime investigation.
