I hit ignore on these calls. After one of them, I called back on another line to see who they were. They said they were New Era Network. The number is a landline in Toronto, ON. I cannot find any trace of them on the internet or in the Canadian databases. I asked where they got my number, they said they are a gay dating agency and I gave it to them at one of the gay pride conventions. I am not gay, nor have I ever been to one of those conventions, so if it was given to them, it was random - though the simplest explanation is that they lied, and use an autodialer. I only give the number to my immediate family by directly programming it in their cellphones. I have had this number since October of 2007 with them not calling, until 4 times in the last month. I told them to remove my number from their database and put it on their do not call list, and am still getting calls. I have reported them to the Canadian authorities but as they don't even seem to exist as a business, an investigation to find out exactly who is calling will be needed.
