T.C.  -- if you paid by credit card, contact your credit card company.  If the call was about a car insurance, didn't you verify the name of your own insurance company first?  I never dealt with any company or sent any money to someone I didn't know, over the phone, from a telephone number I could not call back.

I'm wondering if a simple verification is in order before giving money to a stranger over a telephone conversation.

I have received many calls from area code 416-000-xxxx . It's a recording about the expiration of a car insurance.  First thing I did after I hung up was to google the telephone number. I quickly found that it is a scam.  And now, I get those calls on my cell twice a week and I don't answer.  I have entered the previous numbers on my cells under ''SPAM DO NOT ANSWER''. Therefore, that is what is displayed when I get a call again from the same number.

Internet is a good tool to find scams.  Check twice before sending money.

Was supposed to be getting concert tickets.  Sent 1/3 the omney (100 bucks) and once he picked the money up from western union I never heard from him again.

The person that owns that phone number is a SCAMMER!!! He stole $320 dollars from me. I believe his name is Steve Su...if you know anything, please let me know!

a person by the name of Chris Chan was selling very cheap concert tix--great seats for Lady Gaga. The number that was given is the same as above. The address provided-probably not legit was- 7424 Warden Rd, Ontario, Toronto. This person wanted paymwent by Western Union. I googled the phone number and saw this. THANK YOU! I went no further with the ticket transaction.

He took 120 from me we thought we were buyin concert tickets.. He is a scammer :(
