having been receiving calls from this number sathurday (28), monday (30) and now (31)... they never leave a voicemail...who's it?

Called me on my cell while I was at work. Tempted to take the call and duck out of the meeting I was going to, but decided against it. I figured that anything was better than listening to telemarketing bs.

Got a call from them. I was not home but they called earlier this week wanting to know if I was at my bank on Tuesday. I was not because I work all day. They hung up.
I get these calls from time to time. What I do is keep them on the phone for as long as I can (it's their dime). I just continue to say no. When they ask why not, I ask if they would trust someone who calls day after day, can't pronounce my name right and do not seem to understand the word "no"?
I have no problem with people trying to make an honest living but "no means no".
Another thing I like to do is answer and, if there is a long pause, I wait for the guy from India to ask for someone who does not even resemble my name. I do not say a word, just keep breathing normally into the phone.
Want to waste my time, I can waste yours.
We kept a travelling salesman at our home leading him along for 6 hours because he lied to get into our house. When he left, it was after dark and he could not go door to door here.
My feeling is, if I want it, I will get it.

Hey Mike...I understand your frustrations. BELIEVE ME!!! Right now I would rather be doing anything else but bothering people at home....but I have no choice...but thats another story...When you asked him to be put on the Do Not Call list he was supposed to inform you that it can take up to 31 days to clear your name from all of the systems....did he tell you that? I'm sorry you had a bad experience with the guy...you would think that someone calling you at home during personal time would show a little more compassion then that. If you happen to receive another call just ask to speak to a supervisor and they can take your number off right away.  The thing with that Do Not Call list is if you have an existing relationship with a company they are exempt from it so we are technically not breaking any laws. Also, charities, newspapers and surveys are exempt from the list as well. Trust me, that Do Not Call list is not all it is cracked up to be.  Offshore telemarketers can buy that list for $50 and harass you anytime of the day.  You are better off taking your number off the list and when you do receive calls ask them to put you on the internal Do Not Call or you can even add a service to your home phone (if you are with bell) which blocks telemarketers from calling you.....Trust me Mike.....I hate telemarketing just as much as you do

got this call on my display, it really irritates me that no message was left, and their name does not display on a reverse search....just to let this company know their practice is shoddy...no different than banging on my door and running away like a prank kid.laaradee @ yahoo.com

Just recived a call from this number at my buisness. the caller id said toronto call.  there was a woman on the line claiming there was activity on our buisness credit report. she refused further information to me and knew the name of the owner. I hung up because she refused further information to me. She also refused to provide her name and the name of her company.
