I got a call from (416) 915-7933 today, but when I picked up the phone and said hello, no one responded. When I phoned the number back, a recorded message said the company is Optima Communications International. There is no way to leave a message for them as their mail box is full. Very nice. Why don't the idiots at least ensure that someone will be on the line ready to talk when their auto-dialer makes a call? The answer: Because they want to optimize every second of their employees' time, so they don't waste a penny. In contrast, they think the time I take to answer their stupid phone call is worth nothing.

They never leave a message.. So annoying. Call me everyday-morning or evening!! Who the hell are these people.. I dont even have a scotia bank account.. How can i reach them and tell them to stop annoying me.

got a call at 6:45pm  March 10th 2009 and there was no one on the other end so I just hung up but they should be stopped I thought that god dam do not call list was supose to stop all this b***s*** but there you again it is our wondeful Federal governemnt screwing up again , yo know if you screwed up as many times at work as they do making laws and doing stupid things you would have to leave the country just to find a bad paying job I hope they read this and think hard if they want to get elected again.

(416) 915-7933 is NOT FROM SCOTIABANK.  I am a Scotiabank employee and just received the crank call to my WORK number... they are calling to solicite insurance, and may be asking you personal questions - DO NOT PROVIDE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION AS THIS IS FRAUD!

i just got my first one of these calls. after reading the comments, i have a feeling that this a marketing company phishing for active numbers. if your number picks up, then they boot your name on to a list that is sold to other telemarketers.if they hit an answering machine, expect more calls at varying times until they get a live body. once they have that live body..the time of call, and number are booted over to the active list to enable other telemarketers to be effective when they make their phone calls.they must be using skype or some other computer phone communications to make these calls. it would be awfully expensive to be a cell phone to call all over canada..i'm in area code 250.rg
