SCAM!!!

Scotiabank selling insurance.

got a call,saying i was chosen for 2000 dollar visa with no payment for 5 years,when asked about any interest for those 5 years,hung up...scam..scam..scam.

So Did I... Who is it?

i got a call and when i answered it started ringing back to this number? so weird.

Just got one too, missed it though... I see there is no point in trying to call them back.

I just this number all the time, anyone know who it is? If i answer that dont say anything

Get it al the time, if you Bank with Scotia and they have your phone number it is a call center trying to see you Scotia Life Insurance.

So this number has been calling me for 2 weeks straight, and I don't pick up because we do not know anyone from Ontario. Finally, i pick up, and the lady says she's calling on behalf of Scotiabank for life insurance, and that I qualify for (I forgot what amount of accidental benefit) for $42 a month. So I tell her, I don't commit to anything without asking my wife (actually , my wife wears the pants in the house so its very true LOL). Then she says..."it's ok, we can send you the contract and you can cancel within 30 days if you don't like"...EXCUSE ME, A CONTRACT OVER THE PHONE WITH A GAL FROM WHO KNOWS WHERE? HELL NO !" SO i say no, because first of all I don't see your number as being part of Scotia, and secondly, If i need extra life insurance, i'll do my own research...so she keeps pushing and I say talk to my wife.So now they are calling once a week. As soon as my wife picks up, they hang up, because they know she'll be pissed or likely say no. I think they think I'm too weak and they can somehow sucker me into it, hoping to get me on the phone. This should be illegal to harass people like this for no F-ing reason !!!

This # always call.I dont know why and how they got my #,I  don't know anybody from this area code.and not just once but always.....they are so annoying.

got one too, i'm wondering why can't they just block this knowing that they have number portability system!
