I get a call almost every night on my cell phone #.  I have yet to pick it up..missed it every time.  Thank god for the new DO NOT CALL hotline.  https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca   I have added my number to the list.  Its suppose to work in 30 days.  Hopefully that will put an end to the uneccessary and unwanted calls!!!

We have received over 10 calls from (416) 861-0870 in the last two hours,  sending a fax to our land line. The call came through first displayed as that number, then immediately after that, every seven minutes, as private caller. It is an unscrupulous caller. Your solution is to call Bell Canada and request that they block the number for you.

It's a telemarketing company called COnsumer COntact.

This number apparently feeds through a variety of different counterparties, likely channelling out of town and out of country companies using a calling card, or other routed service.Obviously some of those calling from this number may be questionable, scammers/debt-collectors/telemarketers...but I've recently received a valid call from a known U.S. based customer who purchased something from our business during the call from this number.So...be on guard but don't be completely surprised if it's a legit call. Perhaps just let it go to voice message and followup later.

Received a call from this number at 0857 - definitely was a fax machine with no name associated with it - just a number.

THIS IS SIMPLEY A SPAM TELEMARKETING COMPANY CALLED 'VOICELOGIC.COM"

I GOT 3 FAX CALLS ALL LEADING FROM THE SAME COMPANY (416) 361-0431,(416) 861-0870, AND (416) 350-5218.

SO I CALLED THEIR REAL CENTRAL NUMBER THIS MORNING [(416) 203-9371] AND TOLD THE LADY TO 'DELIST' ME FROM THEIR DATABASE. SHE WAS VERY POLITE AND QUICKLY DONE SO. SHE SAID IT WILL TAKE ABOUT 3-5 DAYS TO TAKE AFFECT (I DONT KNOW Y SO LONG). SO I WILL WAIT AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS. IF THEY CALL AGAIN I SWEAR I WILL GO TO THE CRTC AND FINE THEIR A$$.
