Blow a whistle in the phone? Really? Why not just NOT answer. The people calling are just doing their job. I would rather see them working than sitting on their asses at home collecting EI. Has anyone asked Scotia Bank why their information has been given to this company? And if Scotia Bank or Royal Bank or whoever, learns of this so called "fraudulent/spam" activity using their company name, wouldn't they pursue to have it stopped? And if this truly is a fraudulent company, how did they get your personal information? How safe is your personal information that you provided to these banks in the first place. They are whom you need to talk to and address. Blowing a whistle in someone's ear trying to earn wages is a bit ridiculous. Some of you might say: "who would want to work in a place like that and do that to people?" ...... It's not something I would want to do, that's for sure, but I'd rather do that than clean toilets all day.

Its Scotia Financial trying to sell Insurance

Called me everyday between 4 and 6pm for the past 4 days. Didn't answer because I don't answer if I don't know the number.. They can leave a message but they haven't. Very annoying tho.

i got this call too and they said they r a third party working with scotiabank selling life insurance, but when i check on scotia's website there is no listings anywhere about life insurance. i even got a call today from a third party selling life insurance for Royal bank.

i got this call several times, and i picked it up today and the woman said it was scotiabank and they knew my full name...weird. i told them why they are phoning from ontairo and told them it was long distance and to bugger off

I got a call from this number as well, but I didn't answer it. They have not called back since.

the call i just got was from this number and it was apparently from scotiabank and they were trying to get me for 200 000 dollars at 3% interest rate.

received phone call. there was ringing on other end, a gentleman with a very thick accent asked for me...i lied and said i wasn't in at the moment....he said "thank you...and hung up".tried calling back...and call failed.

they called me and i just told them they got a wrong number.
the girl had no telephone etiquette.  i asked twice who it was on the other end, she never said and kept on mispronouncing my name so since i did not know whom im talking to i said wrong number

Called a few times over the last few days. Didn't answer. The call at 6:45 am this morning was the last straw. Saw people say that they claim to be Scotiabank when I looked up annoying number, so I call Scotiabank. They tell me that they have NO SUCH NUMBER on their calling lists ANYWHERE, so it's a SCAM. Do not give info. to them if you like to keep your life in order!
