Blow a whistle in the phone? Really? Why not just NOT answer. The people calling are just doing their job. I would rather see them working than sitting on their asses at home collecting EI. Has anyone asked Scotia Bank why their information has been given to this company? And if Scotia Bank or Royal Bank or whoever, learns of this so called "fraudulent/spam" activity using their company name, wouldn't they pursue to have it stopped? And if this truly is a fraudulent company, how did they get your personal information? How safe is your personal information that you provided to these banks in the first place. They are whom you need to talk to and address. Blowing a whistle in someone's ear trying to earn wages is a bit ridiculous. Some of you might say: "who would want to work in a place like that and do that to people?" ...... It's not something I would want to do, that's for sure, but I'd rather do that than clean toilets all day.

Its Scotia Financial trying to sell Insurance

Called me everyday between 4 and 6pm for the past 4 days. Didn't answer because I don't answer if I don't know the number.. They can leave a message but they haven't. Very annoying tho.

i got this call too and they said they r a third party working with scotiabank selling life insurance, but when i check on scotia's website there is no listings anywhere about life insurance. i even got a call today from a third party selling life insurance for Royal bank.

Again they called...Leave me alone!!!

Calling to talk to my husband. When I asked for identification, he hung up. Please identify yourself. Weird

She claimed to be Scotia sellin' insurance.
I interrupted her to complain that I paid my phone bill at Scotia last week
and they didn't process it, so my phone serv. co.
texts me this a.m. with a bill reminder - aaaagggh!
(I DON'T USE TEXTS - HATE 'EM! - texted back to F-OFF - spelled fully :)
told her I won't buy ins. from her,
but she could straighten out my greivance
if she wanted to be helpful.
heh, heh. . .
told her I'll talk to my bank mgr. 'bout insurance.
gave NO INFO.
(y'know what? -  a con-artist's head crushin' under yer hand feels great!)

I get called by this number at least 3 or 4 times a week around the same time every night, but I never answer it.  I called my phone company to see if I can get the number blocked as it is an apparent scam (based on the above messages), but they told me I couldn't do it.  They advised me to contact the fraud department at the police station and make a formal complaint against this number.  I'm not sure if it will do any good or not, but, perhaps, if enough of us do it, we can put a stop to the unwanted calls and attempts at scamming us.  Just a thought!

my wife received a call today and they asked for me. when my wife said I was not at home and asked if she could help. the person told her it was non of her business doe to the privacy act and hung up. Question: if they can't give info because of the privacy act. Why are they recording the conversation. Is that not against our privacy?

I received a call from this number once at 8:22pm on a weekday.
I did not answer, as I rarely answer unknown numbers.
They did not leave a voicemail.
They have never called back.
