I also received a obscene phone call from an air duct cleaning company this AM  number is (905) 915-8612.   THey have been calling constantly for about a year.  This morning I told them they were reported to the Peel Police and he proceeded to make obscene statements and refused to hang up.  He said I could not do anything as he was not in the country.   Anyone have any idea how to deal with this.  It has been reported to the Peel Police, and the RCMP.

I made the mistake of saying "no thank you"  and hanging up. They then called me 16 times in a row telling me they want to f*ck my daughter, they will burn my house ect... I know it is an offshore call center so I know there is nothing Peel Police can do.The calls continued so I finally booked a full ducy cleaning service for a time when nobody would be home. I came home today to a voicemail from the duct cleaner saying he was at my house and nobody was home. He stated he will call me back later (from a blocked ID). Hopefully I will be able to get a company name from him at that time.

Have been receiving 2-3 calls per week for the past year from a "duct cleaning company" - once identified themselves as "Ford Duct Cleaning" - no such company in Ontario.  Caller Indian/ Pakistani heavy accent, gets obscene and threatening - called today, very poor connection, got the "company" name "Nirma" (if I understood the idiot correctly - also no such company).  Asked for the address of the company, was given just the postal code - L6M 6H1 - reverse listing gives this as a townhouse complex at 5535 Glen Erin Drive - asked for the street address, was told they didn't have one, they were on a farm, but he insisted they were in Mississauga.   Asked for his supervisor several times (that was when he hung up)... all through, he was continually obscene and threatening - "I'll come over and "F" you in the mouth"  ...  "I'll "F" your wife"  ... "I'll "F" your daughter".    etc.)   Bell suggested we use *57 to start a trace (see Peel Police below) at a cost of $ 5.00.   Did *69, got (416) 800-1005.   (Called that number, but got the message "please enter your card number" - whatever that means)  Called Peel Region Police - they advise cannot do a call trace without a court order / warrant, they did suggest we call Bell and have them put a block on that 416 number.   If threats are made, we can request that the Police "visit" the caller(s)!   For reason noted above, they advised against using the *57 route - (my comment: just more revenue for Bell?).   Reverse listing services seem to indicate this is an unpublished #, but am checking further - there are a number of companies on the net that trace numbers for a small charge - Time we put an end to this head-case!

Called today.  So much for Canada's Do Not Call list.

Received at least ten harrassing calls after deying "mike and his duct cleaning" ???? ?Curse words, sexual innuendos, panting.

Wow... since I actually booked a (bogus) duct cleaning appointment, the calls have stopped. This may be a good strategy to use in the future.. My home phone has atually been quiet!
