I get calls at least 3 times/day from this number....always asked to wait while I get connected to someone....and then sent to a different voicemail.....never anyone there...and company's being connected to don't exist.....so can't see the point of what, whoever, is trying to do or gain!

They tried to scam me for my bank id

the number (416) 751-4382 and (416) 861-9381 as of Jan.24.2012 are being used my a fake company called Hampton International Group http://www.hamptonig.com/ if you look up their WHOIS info you will note that the site was created about three weekends ago.   They have real scam artist salesman trying to convince you to invest in silver at a minimum investment of $5000.  DO NOT TRUST THEM AND FILE A COMPLAINT TO THE RCMP RIGHT AWAY at: info@antifraudcentre?.ca.  Hopefully the RCMP will invistigate them and put these creeps behind bars.

I got a call from a Man who claimed to be a christian, telling me he worked for Blockbuster video on Monestary Drive and that I owed $2.28 and that they were advising me that they had spoken to the police and that a warrent had been issued for my arrest.
It was a very strange call.

They are so dumb and annoying i got two people on the phone? I asked them what they wanted and they are just con artist, they just try to get info on you and stuff and figure out where you live. If you give them your address unknowingly they are danger, then tell the police you did that, so this way an eye could be kept on you because this is not a light matter. These are two guys who are up to some messed up s**t.

Man asked to speak to me by name. Said he was from VISA and wondering if I received my last month's statement. When I asked why he said that they wanted to make sure my account was in good standing because I qualified for an interest rate reduction. I said I'm sure I received it but I wasn't at my computer. He said he'll wait while I went to turn on my compter. I asked why VISA would be calling me and not notifying me by email. I think he said something along the lines of making sure they contacted me. He asked if I knew what my balance owing on my card was and then the line went dead. There was a lot of noise in the background. When I called the number back it was busy. Very strange call.

I received a call from (416) 751-4382 -  name display was 317920392064784.  I Spoke to a guy named Ryan and he was from a division of Comwave. It sounded like he was selling long distance only. I work for Bell so the conversation ended quickly. Judging by the pervious comments, I suspect that this phone number belongs to an outsourced call centre  and is being recycled based on whatever campaign they are working on....  Flavour of the month however is Comwave.
