Got a call this Thursday morning Aug 23/12 and said to call in regards to file # xxx
They tried to tell me that i owed money to xxx but I had never dealt with that company and found out later he had the wrong person when he called me

Note: collection calls after 8 pm are also illegal.....

I was getting calls from this number at least 3-4 times a day.... so I read some of the stuff here that you guys wrote and then I wrote them a nasty gram... if that doesn't get through I have talked to the consumer services canada and they told me if they don't stop with the email that they will make them stop.... they were just eating up my minutes when I first started to get the calls because I would answer and no one would be there... so I stopped answering after the third call... at first I thought it was someone trying to get in touch with me but my phone kept dropping but I even tried that number from my house phone number and there was still no one there or as some of you said it rang busy.... I have had enough of that so I will see how the email goes and thank you guys for the information regarding where the number was from....

I had several call asking if you you mr so press 1 if you know him press 2 if not press 3 and today we had a call from that number and lady left very nesty message threatning us that she will start calling every day from 8 am i I callec the number and I get some body who a speaks really week engilsh who transfered to me to the supervisor and i talk to the supervisor that i did record the massage witch i will submit to my lower the guy he oppologise and he said that he will take my number frrom the list we will see i will keep that message in my lap top till we see

Call this number back and ask to be taken off list. Do not give other info just phone number.  It takes a few requests to eventually get number reomoved.

collection agency kept calling for months for a stacy. i kept telling them there was no one here by that name and to stop calling.they just kept calling.
I called The ministry of Government and Consumer Services, Consumer Protection Branch,5775 Younge st, suite 1500,Toronto m7a 2e5, (416) 326-8800 or 1 +1 800-889-9768 and give your story and follow their instructions and for me there was no more calls from that collection agency, I also recieved a call from the company boss and a apology for their harassment. Now i am recieving calls from another collection agency asking for someone else and i now have to deal with them. it never ends i think they pass your phone no. around in their industry like e-mails

Started getting phone calls from this number last week and they call sometimes twice a day. Have never answered and the person has never left a message.
