just bought a new cell and was assured that the #
would not be published. just got a e mail saying that there is a directory coming out for all cell phones. will be getting calls from robo callers

How to deal with telemarketers 101

Step 1 Get a Cell phone instead of a home phone, cheap plans work too
Step 2 Choose to put the number on do not answer (Reject Call List) It's on the phone.
Step 3 After it's on the (reject list) download an app called Ringo Lite (FREE)
Step 4 Put the phone number into your contacts
Step 5 Set the ring type to SILENT.

Done.

My experience is that I have many calls from Air Duct Cleaning services. They apparently get money for each answered line, regardless if the person buys anything. Sounds like a Indian person on the other end of the line who identifies himself as Joseph each time. Same person? Who knows?

Calling the CRTC and lodging a complaint against the number is fruitless as they are using a spoofing dialer that puts out unassigned numbers and besides the CRTC does nothing about these callers regardless. Same as calling the police, what would be nice is to put this number on auto forward to the Police, or RCMP and then they would do something.

This number keeps phoning me, and when I answer, they just listen and then hang up. Something needs to be done about this type of calling.

These people do not have the tenacity too to answer the phone.K M A

Annoying calls...I'm from QC and they call me... GOOD THING you can recall the # if you want and I've done the same, ask for costumer service and when someone answer I hang up! :P... it's Innovative Vision Promotion telemarketing!

Just received a call from this number. When I answered, they hung up.

My time is valuable!!
I would appreciate it if these people would quit calling and not saying anything. What is with the people?? I asked to be taken off the contact list. If you cant do your work properly GO HOME!

Computer program designed to test the best time of day to have telemarketers call back and harass you. I imagine it works and flags your number when it gets a busy signal. (tele co. hardware failure left my number "line in use" for a week. I'm getting lots of calls now.

Try a free telemarketer blocking software. Or let your provincial or state. Ministry or government office of business look into it. You will get better results.

This number calls everyday around 2pm n when i pick up there is NOTHING really annoying ...

That number is from:Innovative Vision Marketing55 Nugget Ave Suite 204, Scarborough M1S 3L1, ONp: (416) 321-8189  Perhaps you can call them or visit them repeatedly to see if they like it.

It's the Globe & Mail trying to give a deal where if you subscribe they give you a free gift card or something.

How they like to caals me, unbelievable times. I think Bell Canada protecting this caller's name and number too. It not fare.... Please paublish those junk people.

When I get these calls, I contact the company and let them handle it - they hired the marketers.Just let the company know you're mad!! It worked for 2 so far, a credit union and sirius radio. (I emailed the head office of the credit union) I just emailed this to the Globe and Mail  "I am receiving calls from the following number which is identified as the Globe and Mail promotions  1-(416) 646-8791.I have even received a call in the middle of the night (2am on Nov 10)I get a couple of calls a day and even if I do answer, no one is there. It is published on the internet as an annoyance number and the bad publicity is something you should really consider. I am also reporting this as a violation of the Canadian No-call list since  I have never been a customer of your company, and I'm now sure I will not be dealing with you in the future.My number is 999-999-9999 and I do NOT expect to be hearing from you again.  "

That's it, next time they call, they'll get an earful from Mr. Wolf Whistle!  I'm tired of these people calling me.
