I keep getting calls from this number too. When I call back I get a double ring then dead line...grrrrr

This is definitely the Toronto Star call centre.  Just call the same number back that called you - (416) 646-8789, and press 1 to speak to a call centre representative.  While you are listening to their queue music, it will probably just end after a few seconds.  Wait for 15-20 seconds after the music ends.  If a representative does not connect to the call, then hang up and dial again.  After 2 or 3 attempts, you should get a representative, and you can politely ask them to remove you from their internal calling list.

i too get this call everyday at least 2 or 3 times, and i NEVER pick up ! It has been going on for about one month that they call.
