(416) 638-6868called and wanted my visa number for someone they say I owe exactly 100 dollars to. I asked for a bill to be sent to me so I know what I am paying for and was told because it is in collections that would not be possible. When I refused to pay I was told I would be sorry I was ruining my credit over 100 dollars. I replyed they were a scam and he denied and said check BBB. I responded that I checked and to not cll me any more and hung up

I wish that these companies would skip trace the person owing before calling the wrong number several times.  I just moved a few months ago and I guess the people who had my phone number before did not bother changing their phone number with their doctors, dentists, banks and bill collectors. Heck I even get a real estate agent calling for these same people... I wish that the Brazeau would let people know their new number OR that people calling them would understand that the number is no longer theirs!
