just called and said they were looking for some weird name and that they were a credit union - bull

that is Sandy.. he is a dumb man. watch out, don't give those scammers any info. the owner doesn't have a dime to pay salaries next Friday. s/b out of business in couple of weeks

I wish that these companies would skip trace the person owing before calling the wrong number several times.  I just moved a few months ago and I guess the people who had my phone number before did not bother changing their phone number with their doctors, dentists, banks and bill collectors. Heck I even get a real estate agent calling for these same people... I wish that the Brazeau would let people know their new number OR that people calling them would understand that the number is no longer theirs!

I got a call from them this morning but I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  I had been getting calls from NCR Inc. +1 877-792-6203) who were looking for Stephanie who is a total stranger. I phoned them back a few times and they said they had taken my number off their list.  Did they pass on Stephanie's file to A1 Credit or is A1 Credit a subsidiary of NCR Inc.?

This number belongs to A1 Credit Recovery & Collection Services Inc. They also use 1-+1 866-706-1342 when they are calling outside of the 416 area. Their address is 3500 Dufferin St, Suite 403, Toronto, ON, M3K 1N2.

If you want to fax or email them, you'll look long and hard and not find anything because they assiduously try to hide their fax number and email address.  You can fax the president, Brian Cherry, at (416) 638-6867, or email him at brian.cherry @ a1crcs.com.  

Tonight I faxed and emailed a cease call letter because they are using automated recorded calls to harass me at home.  These calls do not identify the calling company or the reason for the call.  The recorded message demands a return call to the 1-866 number above. I have a personal policy of never calling back anyone I don't know, but I figured out who the caller is by googling the number.

Vonage has A1 Credit Recovery after me for a charge that I never authorized. Stay away from Vonage!  Terrible, mean-spirited customer service, and total unwillingness to accept that their service does not work in every situation.
