This number calls me relentlessly.  I do not answer. How do you block numbers like this from calling?

This number has called my home phone daily for weeks and different times early in the morning to late afternoon (so far). They never leave a message when the answering machine picks up.  According to 411.ca the number is a landline in Toronto, Ontario. The registered service provider for this phone line is GT Group Telecom Services Corp. There is no further detailed information about this number that I could find.

They called me.  Supposedly about Toronto Police Widow and Orphans.  The caller (with a fake southern accent) tells me he's helped "thousands" of people by getting donations.  Ok, so I check - 38 Toronto officers have been killed in the line of duty from 1901 - 2002.  So by his logic, that would mean each officer had approximately 30 children, each.  Ok.  And anyway, a pension and insurance should provide for slain officer's families.These people are liars, and stupid.

I have received several calls from this number, until finally I decided to record a voice message that said "Hi it's so and so(first name only, leave a message). Now I am getting messages with someone saying hello hello". I never pick up the phone when these guys call since I know they are not legitimate.
