This number called us today. Asked us if we were interested in free stay for a family of upto 5 people at a Collingwood 5 star resort. Said that we were chosed from 70 people from Toronto demographic. Confirmed that our age group was 30-65 and then confirmed our mailing address... which was incorrect. I didn't bother correcting him. He asked for my email address but I said that I prefer all correspondence by snail mail. He told me to have a great day. Gave me a confirmation # for the call and hung up.

OMG,it's the same story for me,just now,on my way home. i was told won from the taste of lawrence in scarborough,i can get blablablabla......i can not believe him,because there  was not a office hour to contact the person for business......
what the f*** company sold my personal information?

Got the same call.. A gentleman with a West Indian accent. .. I went to the spring bike Show in Mississauga and I apparently filled out a ballot and was chosen to be one of the 30 "finalists".. The background noise was loud and sounded like a complete scam.. He started asking for my wifes name... Told him I wasn't interested and hung up.. Total scam...

SO i just got a call from (416) 584-2444, asking for my bf but the weird thing is that my phone is under my name.  I told them to stop calling cause they had the wrong number if they call again i am going to report it to the police.

i just received a call from them...same story.  I entered a ballot at the Cabbagetown Festival in Toronto last weekend. I was so excited, what a shame.  

So if it a scam, what do they get out of it...other than my email address and obviously my phone number?

This number has called me several times this week, with the same "winner" story as everyone else. I have registered a complaint on the "do not call" website & suggest that everyone do the same! www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca

Just got a call from that number right now!! ?I called the number back but for some reason it couldn't go through saying to try the number again..*lol*  thank goodness I lied when the person called and said I wasn't home!!!
