i got this at around the same time everyone else..and i didn't pick it up either.but it rang like once or twice and it stopped

Yep scotia bank - I'm on the do not call list so why should I endure  calls from a contracted company?  Drives me nuts!  LOL

the blessing is I have rogers and can hit a button on my tv remote to send it to VM :-)

You do realize people its not ACTUALLY Scotia bank, get mad all you want and shut your accounts down but they would never call you. I had "Telus" call me before about dropped calls, I stupidly gave them my pin and the added 6 phones onto my account. It wasn't Telus at all!! They get your information, in this case would take all your money in your bank.

they claim to be calling on behalf of scotia bank...have you actually contacted your bank to check on this?  i did the mistake of picking up this call and a lady asked me if I was interested in Financial products from scotia bank...i told her that in no way i was to discuss any personal or Financial things over the phone with an unknown caller...and I got that call after 11 pm ....
