This number showed up when my bf called me from Toronto using a calling card

Someone called my work number from this number.  Once last night at 10:53 pm, and again this morning around 7 am.  Left no voicemail.  Appeared to have hung up just as the voicemail came on.

called last night and said he was from Alliance and did I hold the mortgage on my house - told him to never phone again!

Claimed to be from Windows and that my computer was sending error messages.
Told them that I knew they were a scammer trying to gain remote access to my machine and hung up on them.

Wow! Somebody bought a phone card just for calling strangers and saying nothing.

A thousand slow deaths to these telemarketers.  Just as guilty are the telephone companies who sell service to people who violate the Do Not Call list.
