I just got a call from this number last night but it was someone I knew on the line.  How would they get this number?

called us claiming they were "calling about our computer" and just needed us to answer a few questions first to verify our account. baloney

I usually tell them I work for the RCMP Fraud department and ask what company she is calling from...lol  Usually puts a stop to the calls pretty quickly.

I got 3 calls from day just today. Finally picked up. A lady with a broken english said she is calling from Washington DC! !!! And I have just won 8,000.00 dollars. . In order for me to get the money inhave to send $1,000.00 to them first! !! Dumb [***].

I tried to block this number nut apparently, it is not really a Toronto number and they still call my.hat do I do it seems to be call regarding special offers for a Credit Card that I do not even have.

Caught me in bathroom so machine took call, just a LOT of noise and someone said hello a couple times.  I have a referee whistle and give a good long blow on it.  Seems to discourage them but of course there are many of them.
