Rang phone half second and stop any time

we got a call from this number, we said hello twice then they hung up. this is the first time and we suspect it may be some type of telephone identity thief ( scammer ) my advise is just hang up, the longer you stay connected the risk of some type of a scam may occur

Just use block option in your phone. That will help esp if u have these days smart phones to block nos

Just got a call from this number.The caller claimed to be named Justin from my "computer company". He said that my windows was infected with a virus. The way he knew that is because I'm connected to the internet.... He obviously didn't know what he was talking about and couldn't answer any of my questions. They want you to log into your computer probably to access your information. Absolutely sure this is some kind of scam...

I did'nt pick up the phone.  Please take my number from their mailing list

When someone is calling from overseas then their number is displayed as local canadian number. So may some of your friend is calling you from outside of this country.
