What happened to the "DO NOT CALL Registry"?

Received robot dialer message:  "Hello. We have a message for you.  Press 1 to accept."  Pressing one only leads to a further automated commercial.

4 times one hour, just beeping on the other line.

any updates on stopping these ? been getting this fax call several times a day at work.

(416) 504-9427 has now called me twice at work in the past 5 minutes.  I suspect it has something to do with the fact that I called 1-+1 866-881-6262 in order to be removed from a "Promotional Travel" Fax that comes everyday and wastes paper. The two must be linked. DAM THEM!
