They called on cell phone, said had message for me, to listen press 1 to hang up press 2 - not thinking I pressed 2, but then hung up.  I do not see that anything has happened - so far.

Very annoying.
Can't the phone company cut this number off?

The number (416) 504-9427 keeps calling. When I answer there is FAX beeping sound. When I call the number the telephone operator always says this is not a working line. It is obviously a working line so why is the Telephone Company telling me it is not a working line?

that number just called me at 11:23am ca time! weird!!!!!

I saw this phone number on my caller Id and did not bother to answer it based on the comments above.  They left a voice mail message.  It was a recording for Budget Maestro.

A fax line is calling me from this number. I tried to call back and the phone exchange machine is telling me this number does not exist.

All we can do is ask our MPs to do something about it. If I want Bell or Rogers to block some numbers from calling me, they want money for that. The MPs should enact some law, prohibiting (*_#&*&$W* from calling us.

The policemen will not do anything about it. Maybe, they are also getting the same s**t calls.
