I receive this call every few days after 6pm, and today (Saturday) it came in early afternoon.

Thankfully I run my own Trixbox (VoIP PBX phone system) and have simply added it to my blacklist, which never rings my extension and sends back the zapteller to the calling end. :-D

Received call at 11:40 a.m., 28 June 2008.  Did not pick up because I was too busy with other tasks. Ringing stopped before my Telezapper had a chance to send an "out-of -service" signal ... it does this when our answering machine kicks in or when receiver is picked up.Not sure if I've received this number before but will let the Telezapper deal with it next time if I can pick up before it disconnects.  I'm not convinced my Zapper works on all automated (computer generated) calls even though I have it set on full service. If I'm unsuccessful, will try Dave's remedy.

I left a comment about this number a week ago and it called back again today on Saturday evening.  This is a market research company calling to ask opinion polls.  This was the first time anyone has ever been on the line.

You guys will all s**t! This is a true story. Just about 15 min. ago we got a call from this same number, when my wife answered there was no one on the line. We tried to call back and the voice told us that the number was out of service. This would be weird under normal circumstances or just annoying. Unfortunately we were in the middle of watching the RING! I am not kidding. We paused the movie because my wife was too scared. The phone rang ten seconds after we paused the movie. My wife HAD to answer the phone. The lack of anyone on the other end was too much for her. Then the call that told us the number didn't exist. Thank God for this chat thread or my wife would still be in a stress ball on the floor! That is assuming you guys are all still alive! Thought you would all enjoy this story, see, it could be worse than just an annoying tele-marketer.

Just got a call from this number & when I picked up no one answered.  I have put my name on the national Do Not Call List so if I ever do have someone call again & I get a live person, I'll demand to be put on their DNL list.

Received a call from this number at 8:59pm tonight and there was no one at the other end when I picked up.  We are on the National Do Not Call list so I filed a complaint.
