yup TM's for sure... if u call it back, there is a reorded msg that sez the # is out of service.

Tried calling the number back but got fast busy--fast busy is usually indicative of network trouble, somewhere.

This call also called me on March 17th at 9:30 pm. Said hello several times, no response.

Received a call from this number at 8:59pm tonight and there was no one at the other end when I picked up.  We are on the National Do Not Call list so I filed a complaint.

I receive this call every few days after 6pm, and today (Saturday) it came in early afternoon.

Thankfully I run my own Trixbox (VoIP PBX phone system) and have simply added it to my blacklist, which never rings my extension and sends back the zapteller to the calling end. :-D

We've been getting calls every night from this number.  I used to work for a telemarketing company way back.  They use a device called a Predictive Dialer (actually a computer) that dials numbers continuously and listens for the click when you answer.  If you don't answer, your number goes back into the database and it keeps calling.  When you answer and there are not enough salespeople working, you get just dead air.

There's software and hardware out there that 'zaps' the database by playing the "this number is not in service" sound when they call.  We haven't bought it yet!!
