I received a call from (416) 493-7703 and the person on the other end of the line told me that they were conducting a "5 minute" survey on the Ottawa recycling program.  I told her sure I would be willing to answer the questions. She then proceeded to rapidly ask me questions that were garbled and not easily understood.  When I questioned her about one of the questions she responded like a robot...I asked if I could speak with her supervisor, did she have a supervisor, as I didn't think she was doing a very good job in asking the questions...this is after being on the phone for approximately 20 minutes for the 5-minute survey. She hung up the phone.Why is a Toronto area code doing a survey for Ottawa and area?  This makes no sense to me.

Call received on Saturday evening at 6.59 p.m. Ottawa time.  Nobody was on the other end, and I got a "fast Busy" when I tried to call it back.  So much for the "Do Not Call" list...

I received 3 calls from this number today and no one answers -there is no sound nothing - when I call this number back I am told that this number was incorrectly dialed - not so - this number shows up just about every week and I am getting tired of it. What info of mine are they gleaming through the wireless devices these days??

I receive this call every few days after 6pm, and today (Saturday) it came in early afternoon.

Thankfully I run my own Trixbox (VoIP PBX phone system) and have simply added it to my blacklist, which never rings my extension and sends back the zapteller to the calling end. :-D

We've been getting calls every night from this number.  I used to work for a telemarketing company way back.  They use a device called a Predictive Dialer (actually a computer) that dials numbers continuously and listens for the click when you answer.  If you don't answer, your number goes back into the database and it keeps calling.  When you answer and there are not enough salespeople working, you get just dead air.There's software and hardware out there that 'zaps' the database by playing the "this number is not in service" sound when they call.  We haven't bought it yet!!

At 21:18 this number called...when answered, there was no one, just one "beep" that's it.

My phone shows me that this number (416) 493-7703 has called a total of 2 times !

I would really like to shove my phone right up their..."dring..dring.."

This has got to stop...09:18 PM or any time is too much for me...
