I got a call last night at 7:47 PM. Nobody answered when I kept saying hello. I am on the national Do Not Call List and I don't want them to call me.

Tried calling the number back but got fast busy--fast busy is usually indicative of network trouble, somewhere.

I received a call from (416) 493-7703 and the person on the other end of the line told me that they were conducting a "5 minute" survey on the Ottawa recycling program.  I told her sure I would be willing to answer the questions. She then proceeded to rapidly ask me questions that were garbled and not easily understood.  When I questioned her about one of the questions she responded like a robot...I asked if I could speak with her supervisor, did she have a supervisor, as I didn't think she was doing a very good job in asking the questions...this is after being on the phone for approximately 20 minutes for the 5-minute survey. She hung up the phone.

Why is a Toronto area code doing a survey for Ottawa and area?  This makes no sense to me.

This should be made illegal and we, consumers as a group should do sometihng to stop this none-sense. I am fed up and frustrated with the TM calling - and I think that I like the billing system that everytime someone call me, I will get paid for a dollar - I know that it is bad for my friends to call me. Eventually we will win - everybody will win - at least it will make the TM pay for their prank calls - I think that I will be rich just answering these prank calls.

This number calls regularly at dinner time. It is very annoying.

This number just called - Friday evening at cca.5:17 pm.  No answer when I say hello.
