I have also recieved calls and when I call back it is seemingly a disconnected number.

The number (416) 493-7703 is being displayed in the calling ID by Nanos Research. (I hope)I tried David Wilson's advice (see post from April 15th) and received a response from the company.  I left a telephone message and e-mailed Mr. Nanos.  His written reply was:"Thank you for your note. I will have your number removed from the list. Please note you have not received a ?telemarketing? call. We are a market research firm conducting public opinion survey of Canadians. Call received on Saturday evening at 6.59 p.m. Ottawa time.  Nobody was on the other end, and I got a "fast Busy" when I tried to call it back.  So much for the "Do Not Call" list...

Just got this call tonight @ 6:30 central time. Said hello and there was nothing. Then I could hear my own voice in sort of an echo and then the busy tone. I am on the Do Not Call list to, but I don't think they cover opinion surveys since they are not selling you anything. On the news a couple of weeks ago it reported that the Do Not Call list was being sold to foreign companies so don't expect all your calls to stop I guess.

This number has called me several times, all around 6-630pm.. I have called back and it just tells me not in service.
