I received a call from this number.  It came up from Ontario, Canada.  She said she was my Granddaughter and I knew it was not.  When I said, "Is this ____" she said yes.  I told her she didn't sound like her & she said she had a cold.  I know it was a scam.

I received a call from this number. ?It came up from Ontario, Canada.  She said she was my Granddaughter and I knew it was not.  When I said, "Is this ____" she said yes.  I told her she didn't sound like her & she said she had a cold.  I know it was a scam.

I was billed for a long distance charge from a phone number that no one in my family recognizes or ever remembers calling. When I tried to call the number, it told me to enter an authorization code. I have no idea who this was and I really want to find out. Help?
