I think it's a spoofed number. Got a call at 5:30 tonight. On my caller ID it was" +41 64 545 45 5"

hello,yes, I got a call from that number, ringing long-distance, showing (416) 454-5455 code.  I didn'tanswer and they called back shortly after.  I answered and the guy didn't say anything,then finally - same thing - "my name is Jack".  I finally hung up on the guy.

Still calling here around the dinner hour.  I finally called my phone company and found out from them how to block individual numbers.  Sooooo, everytime I get a call from some number I do not recognize or that says private name and gives some number - I will block it.  I already block calls from "private name / number" and now I will start this campaign.  Check with your phone company to see how you too can block individual calls.  Good Luck!

I got a call from this douche, said he was from "Collections"   not that these calls are of any surprise to me, but he wouldn't give his name, (middle east heavy accent) and then started selling me a cellular phone from the company I thought he said "Cell".   What I just said took him 3 minutes for me to make out what he was saying with the amount of times I had to get him to repeat it with his thick accent.   Finally he spelt it out, I had to back him up, saying are you selling me something or telling me I owe you money?    He spelled out 'Cell'   "S-Ah-L-Ah"    I said you mean Solo?  He said yes.    I said who do you think you're calling, he said "Mr.Ben"   I said that's not me.   He said he was offering me a great deal with "Solo" cell.    I asked him if he dialed the number right, he said yes, it's 780-184-xxxx, I said you're in Canada, no phone prefex begins with 1, he repeated it, I corrected him as 814?   He said that's what he said, getting to the last 2 digits of my phone number saying..."it's correct, the number I just dialed to make my house ring, it is right."    I finally said look jack***, I don't care how good of a deal you can give me, if I have to phone with a problem and make my conversation 4 times longer trying to understand wtf you're saying, I don't care if it's free.    Don't ever call me again!!   And hung up.
