I just got a call 10 mins ago and just got dead air on the other end, too bad because I like to play games with the telemarketers. If it's someone that says they're from Windows I say, "no no I only have Apple computer" in a strange accent. You can always say "Windows? Don't you mean Microsoft, Microsoft makes Windows operating systems, get your story straight" and then hang up. Also, I have a "number disconnected" recording on my cellphone that I like to play when they call my home number. Have fun with them and make them feel like idiots, I rarely get calls anymore, I wonder why?! :-)

Even I got call today and they told me that they are calling from Immigration office..

today they are calling with the scam that your computer has a virus and you need to go to some website and they will clean it for you. They claim to be calling from "Windows" . Apparently they want you to go to a   wesite where they will implant malware and steal your information.
