I missed a call.

That caller ID is a third-party company hired by ROGERS Wireless to conduct customer service follow-ups with customers who purchase/upgrade their phone or have it repaired.

A young woman called from that number at my parent's house, asking to speak specifically to me. I don't have a clue on how that person got my name and my parent's number: I live in an appartment with my girlfriend since 2 years. The girl told my mother she wanted to verify some of my personnal infos in regards to a cell phone reparation/replacement. She needed my address and my cell phone number.My parents asked for a number where i could call her back, she just hung up.They obtained the number by using the *69 service and called me to check it out.I tried calling it from a public phone line, it's an uninitialised voice mailbox.I Googled it and fell to fraud calls complaints.Rogers Wireless was notified of that situation.The Montreal Criminality Information Line was notified of that event.I invite anyone getting calls from that number to do the same: call info crime at 1-+1 800-711-1800 and lets pin that person down.
