I just noticed that money was withdrawn from my account without my permission to do so , a collection agency called ibb did that and I know I owe for my credit card but are they allowed to do that ? Now my rent and feeding money is gone , what am I going to do ? Pls I need help I keep calling the collection company but no one is answering and I called cibc but still nothing they keep telling me to call the collection company

They called a couple time to get my personal info BIG SCAM again

saw this number on my phone with some agent #, no clue. Now looked it up and sounds like yet another scam. I don't have any reasons for a collections to be calling me so I just blocked the number. I do know someone who used to live at my address had collections chasing her, so she probably is still giving my number out. :(

These A**&%$#@holes have been calling me for about 1 year now,. I answered once or twice and they are trying to collect on a C/C Debt that was paid in full over 2 years ago!

I just let my phone ring until my Fax Machine answers, the 'BEEP' is my response to them !

How can these people be a business, very aggressive & rude! Have called me for months sometimes 3x day!! I have bo debt, never have. What is this a SCAM?

Common collections sent me a letter with the number above. They are also under the name Totally Debt Free. ! 1-+1 888-999-4440. They are a scam. Anytime anyone checks their "Credit Score" online, that is how these scammers find you !
I suggest call your bank directly regarding your access card and as I did add on a additional security Code.
No one at any time will take money out of your accounts without your approval.

Received a couple of missed calls from this number and when I rang back to figure out the nature of the call, they refused to provide any context but instead kept asking about my personal information. When I refused to disclose without understanding their intention first, Agent 408 got angry and hung up on me. I have no debt and all the bills are paid through auto-debit arrangement. Very annoyed...

The caller started asking questions about the business next door as if he was a customer. He said he has left her text messages, but gotten no response. I gave him very little information, as he was acting as if he was a friend of mine.

i just looked at my account online and notice that all of the available funds had been taken by IBB in the amount of 700.00. They have not called me. I don't owe the bank. I do not know what this was taken for and need to know.

I received a call from someone who wanted ME to give up personal information to "identify" myself... Because yeah, I am just going to start disclosing personal details to some random caller. They have called me multiple times in the last few days, with three calls literally within minutes of eachother. What professional business does that?

No real bank or professional association would conduct business like this. I believe this is a scam and since I have no debt - they must be operating off an old caller list.

They are a collection agency & two of the many names they go by are CCA & Ibb Collections Toronto Toronto which from what I have been able to find out that they are a bank owned collection agency for CIBC (Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerece) & the continually threaten & drain your account(s) if you owe the bank of CIBC any over due amount & it doesn't matter what you say or do they force you into selling your house & everything else until they are satisfied & even then you still get the harrasment & threating calls!! Is there any other way to legally stop this crap without hiring a lawyer which you can not afford?

Common Collections called me looking for someone named George. These people really need to update their information. Anyway, they were ignorant, arrogant and just plain stupid, I think the guy that called here had the IQ of about lumber. I have noticed an increase in the number of collection agency mis-calls to almost everyone I know, so probably the number of defaults is way on the increase (collapsing financial system) which promotes the creation of these scumbag companies. If they call you whether you owe them money or not, tape them and get them flustered because then they'll really get pissed off and stupid. Then after you have been adequately abused, call an attorney or go file a claim in small claims court. You can have them charged and fined, so they can pay you or they can pay the fine ;-) Become a financial hitman !!!! And beat these @sswipes at their own game.

They will also do a credit check to obtain more up to date info on you and tag your credit file as in collection. This is done BY LOGGING ON TO EQUIFAX AND USING YOUR SIN AND ADDRESS GIVEN BY THE CIBC AND THEN EQUIFAX DOWNLOADS THE DATA THINKING CCA (COMMON COLLECTION AGENCY IS YOU). They log on using your credit ID supplied by the CIBC BANK. They may call your neighbors to get information pretending to be a courier company, or a family member looking for their son on an urgent matter. They did a credit check on my brother LEO who then got his home address who then called he landlord who then gave them his home then called his home number. See how they do it...
