Got me severly!!!  Knew wife's nickname and local area streets. Supposed to be grandson with a legal problem.  Ended calls when asked his mothers name, byt waas too

Received call 10:30 EST, "Hi, Grandpa, this is Chris".  I said 'who?', and he said "Chris, your grandson".  I said 'I don't have a grandson named Chris' and the connection immediately went dead.

this is a number for a calling card company, if someone is calling you with a certain brand of calling card this is the number that will appear no matter what phone they are calling from, it is likely someone you know.

Did not answer this call but did a search on line and came up with the following site, came up on my phone as long distance and I recognise the area code as Toronto. Watch out for this scam!!http://staugustine.com/news/local-news/2010-0 ... s-cause-concern
