Just had this clearly bogus number call my home.  Didn't leave a message.

This number has called several times. I've not answered it except for today. When I did so, the woman said she was calling from Bell Canada and wanted to speak to "the owner". When I asked her "the owner of what?"...She said "the house". I told her she wasn't calling a house and then she got very rude and said that either I get her the owner or I'm wasting her time. I said, "If you're calling from Bell Canada, wouldn't you know who I am?" She said I was wasting her time and mine.I hung up on her and called Bell Canada. They said that they hadn't called me. That number isn't associated with Bell Canada and that if Bell Canada calls, they know who they are calling as they have all the info on their computer. She said if that number calls again, to just hang up.

This number is calling my business 5 times daily.  When I answer, there is no one on the line.  I contacted Bell to get the number blocked.  This canot be done unless we upgrade our lines, an option I do not wish to pay for.  Bell does not provide the service for this number and thus cannot identify the party.

If Bell knows that someone is using this number and claiming to represent Bell why are they not following up and shutting down the abuser?  Telling you to "just hang up" if you receive another call is not good enough.  Why should you be expected to tolerate the harrassment?  Bell is accepting bad PR if it does nothing to combat this.
