answer -  Spoofed Numbers: Caution, 416-000-3571 is a "spoofed" number, which means that whoever called you "tricked" your caller ID to display an incorrect phone number. Telemarketers do this so you cannot complain, but they failed... you can still file a complaint here to fight back against unethical telemarketers.

It's a scam, clearly. They called my cell about renewing my vehicle warranty...but I don't even have my learner's permit/G1 -_-. Seriously, if they're going to scam people, at least target people old enough to drive.

try calling them, Bell - and 411- msg says number doesn't exist, and if police can't do anything "due to number portability", I've got a list I'd like to make some harassing calls to.

i have recieved following numbers to my cell phone this week.416-000-9946, 416-000-1673, 416-000-3571,416-000-7911,416-000-1397,416-000-7954, 416-000-3196.i am told by my phone provider that these are not real or complete numbers.my display only shows 10 digits and the telemarkters have equipment to hide their actual phone numbers.  they may be phoning long distance with a total phone number of 19 digits.any one complained to phonebusters or the police?
