Got a call from this number today.  A recorded voice said: "Hello, because you are a valued Telus customer, you will receive 3,000 travel bonus points"I hung up.  Telus does not make that king of call and besides, my phone number is on a no-call list.BTW, I receive similar calls at regular intervals (maybe once a month), but the message varies over time.

Just an FYI to readers, they use an auto-dialing program that identifies you by either
A) a purchased (or aquired) list from a company you delt with in the past (Wal-Mart, Can Tire, etc)
B) a list of numbers known to belong to a phone provide (Rogers, Telus, etc)
and then insert the correct company name when they say you are a valued customer.

They will never stop.  They will get a new number when this one has too much attention.  Do Not Call Lists don't work due to certain rules about previous contact with businesses or personal/work related numbers or marketers that don't give a dam and possibly even use the list to make their own dial list.

Just find a way to piss them off when they call so they hang up and have a bad day and find other work.  If there's no one willing to work for these jerk marketers or scammers, then they won't call.

i got the call they said "u are a valued canadian tire customer, press 1 to get $3000 travel dollars to cacun mexico" i pressed 1 and spoke to a guy and he started to explain 2 adults and 2 children they pick us up from airport and we get 40% off any excursions, then he asked what i do when i traveld, i said i dont travel and he hung up....whatever

I just got a call from this number, on a new work cell. I never answerd, since absolutly no one has the number for the cell. I'm guessing it must be telus, since noone else whould know that number even exists.
