Got this call today, also from "AirCanada" and that I was a "valued customer". I don't know if I've ever flown AirCanada. Haha.I've gotten this exact call (not sure of the number though), with the same message, but the company name was changed to something else like Chase. If you ever hear this message (any of them) stay the hell away. Any company that values your business will send a real person to call you.

I just got the call saying "You are a preferred WestJet customer, press 1 for a free gift".  I just booked a flight online with WestJet yesterday and today I get a spam phone call using WestJet's name.  Is this truly a coincidence or are these callers hacking online communications and/or transactions either through vulnerabilities in my computer or WestJet's systems or any other step along the way, email confirmations from online itineraries, etc.  It makes me extra suspicious due to my booking yesterday and I am wondering if there is a connection.  I did not press 1, I just waited on the line a moment after the recording and the call was automatically disconnected.  I knew if it was legitimate that WestJet would have had more to the message or an actual person following up.  This call was the typical scam format.
