They called ,  i answered,no response. Called back, got message"if u want no more call press 1

I just got the same call; didn't answer.  Let the call go to the machine; didn't leave a msg.

Just had this number call me yet again. When I answered out of curiosity there was no one there. Seriously wish that people would stop wasting ones time.

I answered, nothing there. Called again an hour later but i didn't answer. Who is it?

So why doesn't the phone company cancel the number? I suppose the famous privacy issue...so people can go on with their harrassment.
