They called my office number; I did press 1 and when the rep came on - some promo company -  asked how could he help and I told him to remove my number from all future phone call solicitations.  Said he'd do it (would take 48 hours) ..... now time will tell.

Usage of CPE (Customer Provided Equipment) means that the caller-ID information has been set by the caller. ?Thus, they can call you, while they are showing a "not-in-service" number.  So, because the number is "unassigned", no telephone-company (Bell, Telus, Shaw, et cetera) can route the number back to them.

Today i've got one of this calls, the message was from West Jet. I asked why the message was talking about air miles and then they were offering vacations. (may 16 2013) the agent who i was talking to at first had an european accent but he convinced me. I purchased it. If you don't want to talk to them don't press 1

somebody called from this # to my office phone #. since i was not in the offcie at that monment when came back the voicemail box indicates a message but when i checked there is no any sound. when called back to this # a voice tells this # is not in use. that is strange enough!

called my cell did not answer if it was important they would leave a message SO NO DEAL
