If you don't report the callers that are violating the "Do Not Call List," how do you expect them to be charged/stop clling?https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/plt-cmp-eng

Angie, I am going to join your crusade. These clowns call three of my phone numbers multiple times a week and I have tried everything to get them to stop. They have ticked me off enough that it's now time to go on the offensive.... We now know the origin (Spain), names, and addresses, and associated websites of those responsible. It's likely that a cyber attack on there websites is imminent. They are a plague on society and have disrupted enough lives that it's time to disrupt their operations.

"Just don't pick up" is not valid advice. Here in Canada we have certain Do Not Call legislation which means the caller:a) must provide some way of being put on their 'do not call' listANDb) must not call someone on the do not call listThis caller is not doing either of those things...Please don't comment if you have nothing to add.--Anyway--I pressed 1 to get an operator to put me on their do not call list but pressing 1 gets a busy signal.

How did they get my number? Is there anyway to stop them from calling?

This crowd are at it again. I've had at least 12 phone calls from them today alone. They are trading as Global Group Travel and BoomerangTravelClub.com. I tried keeping them on line for as long as I could to find out something about them. In most cases when I sounded sceptical, or they suspected that I knew it was a scam, they just hang up on me. I run a business and I have 100 phone numbers as part of a PABX. They just seem to be ringing everyone of my numbers in turn - very frustrating and a waste of my time. It would be nice if the Police did something about these con-men.

"you have been selected to win XXXX Airmiles press 1 to claim your prize"Sandos Resort was my Airmiles "deal" of choice. Here are some of the key things they say when I said what company routes the calls to them. "I don't know, I'm not the IT guy to know the system". "I would be working for corporate if I knew this informaiton". He didnt' want to give me the information. I told them that this is a shady way of doing business if this is indeed legit. FYI he said he was from Mexico (had a spanish accent for sure). "You are the one who picked #1 sir"... grrrrrrrr......Keep them on for a while just for fun. It wastes their time. Give them fake credit card info off the internet. Lead them on for a while.I asked what companies are involved. I got: Airmiles, RCI Resort companies and Sandos. I was told I can call Sandos Resort and still get their rep to get a deal with them. I asked if they ask for my credit card over the phone and laughed.... People are stupid enough to give a card number over a cold call?! DUMB. This is why they do it... stupid people that get Scammed and then we get calls. Or stupid people that actually buy this deal perpetuating more cold calls.
