This must be a scam.

They claimed to be from a some Cancun vacation place. I asked how they got my number, they said from an RCI resort, or from a friend who was there.

I have never been to such a place, and the number they called is my work number, which I don't even remember, and I have never given it to anyone (and is less than 6 months old). So they must have lied about that.
At this point I just said I am not interested and hung up.

The call was on June 7th, 6:11:41pm (PST).

yeppers...just got this call, googled and here we go, other people also have been called...im on the do not call list...that list was b***s***

Recieved a call from this number saying that I had won 100,000 airmiles...then a lady picked up and asked me if I had a valid credit card....when I said yes, she told me to hold for the next available rep....I was on hold for two minutes and hang up after and then googled the number only to find out that its a FRAUD....SHAME ON THIEVES!

Air Canada??   I don't think so.............   I'm not happy having # calling my cell phone........

This so called company called my on my cell, my husband's cell and our land line all within a matter of minutes.  How do they find our numbers?

They don't "get" cell numbers...a machine dials numbers in order for example 111-1111, 111-1112, 111-1113 and on and on....
AND YES IT IS A SCAM...they are looking for the 1 person out of a hundred who realize that too late. Report it to Air Canada!
