I had the same thing..."no immediate problem with your credit card but qualify for a lower interest rate on your credit card, press 9 to speak with a live agent"...when I did and asked him what company he was calling from, he hung up....be careful out there!

I have received several of these messages and when I press 9 to talk to a real live operator and tell them I am not interested, they hang up on me.  How rude is that?  The last operator even told me what credit card I had and the interest rate I was paying.  It was incorrect information and when I told her I paid my credit cards off before the due date and therefore the interest rate was irrevelevant, she hung up on me.  Does anyone know how to find the source of these calls?  I have also received these calls on my cell phone which really irritates me as I pay for incoming calls.  How do we stop this nonsense?  Can anyone else tell me how they have achieved this?

A good quality whistle blown loudly into the mouthpiece of the phone can cause an eardrum to burst on the other end.
