call in evening. No message and u/k caller id.  It's their dime if they want to waste it.

This number has called twice today.  Just a minute ago they called for the second time and I picked it up.  There was a delay after I said hello, so I knew it was a computer calling and when I said hello it took a few seconds to be transferred to a person.  A guy who sounded middle eastern asked for me by name and said congratulations you will be receiving the Globe and Mail, Monday through Saturday, absolutely free for the next 13 weeks.  He continued speaking from his script and I had to interrupt him and say "I'm not interested" then I hung up.  Probably stopped him before he got to the part where he says that he needs my credit card number for identification purposes only, there will be no actual costs charged.
