Just got a call, didn't answer.  No message.

Yup, no message at 7:19 pm. There's no connection if you call back.

Just got a call from this number. Nothing but static in the other end. Call back gives "This number cant be reached as dialed please check area code and number"  Obviously a check that our listed DNC number is still active for the usual further spam calls. The phone number is a fake providedby TELUS.
