I've got a phone call on our business line today from a guy with a very heavy Hindu (Indian?) accent.
The guy right away asked for the Business Manager. We've right away proceeded further into the conversation. He was asking various questions that ONLY THE COMPETITORS ARE ASKING - NOT CLIENTS! I have pointed him out to our website for any additional information. He said that he will defenietly check it out and will BOOK a furnace cleaning the following Monday!

I knew it all sounded too fishy... I've went to Google to look up any possible matches for (403) 536-8286.
Sure enough, found few sites where other people were commenting on that number. Some said it was the Furnace Cleaning company working in Calgary, some said it is the Call Centre with bunch of indian guys... Anyways, I've decided to call back and investiage...

After I've asked direct questions - IF it was indeed the Furnace Company - the guy explained that they are the CALL CENTRE (for various companies that hire them as Telemarketers). So, my understanding was that they are checking on the Furnace Companies. Perhaps, to validate IF it's going to be a perspective client.... However, that being said - I WOULD NEVER HIRE THEM TO REPRESENT my company! I would simply be ashamed, if somebody would be telemarketing on my behalf with the level of representation that THEY OFFER. Hopefully, this explanation will clear up everybody's wonders about these guys at 403-536-8286. Cheers!

They started in on me yesterday with 6 calls. I have a Shaw home phone and blocked the number. Today, they called AGAIN from an 'unavailable' number. Luckily, I have the option to block any private/unavailable numbers too. But what the heck? What company does that? Creepy.M8
